4 Extras to Consider When Renting a Mobile Restroom

Posted on: 12 September 2016

If you are renting mobile restrooms for a private event, then you will likely have several options to choose from. Mobile restrooms are usually trailers that are similar to portable restrooms in that they can be delivered to most locations, but they offer higher-quality amenities for you and your guests. When you rent a mobile restroom, the restrooms can be a pleasure to use, but it is important that you select the appropriate extras along with your restroom.

A Generator

Most mobile restrooms have ample internal and external lighting. They can often be plugged into a building utilizing a regular outlet. However, if your event is located in a remote area or if you are unable to run a cable to an electrical outlet, you can order a generator to supply electricity to the restroom. This will allow your guests to see clearly while they are inside the restroom and create a more visually appealing environment.

Water Supply

Similar to electricity, most mobile restrooms accept local water supplies through an ordinary garden hose. However, if you do not have a water supply available, you may want to order extra water tanks so your guests can wash their hands after using the restroom. An ample water supply is one of the main features that separates a luxury mobile restroom from a portable toilet used on construction sites or at festivals.

Restroom Attendant

Large groups of people can go through a surprising amount of toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap. They can also inadvertently make a mess. However, as the host of an event you may not have time to make sure the restrooms remain stocked and clean. Many portable restroom companies offer a restroom attendant to help with placement and hookup as well as monitor the restrooms throughout your event.

ADA Compliance

If you are hosting a private party, then you may not have to order a restroom that is ADA compliant. However, a restroom with more space and greater accessibility can be useful for many of your guests. Additionally, if a guest is injured before your event, you will be prepared to accommodate them without making last-minute changes to your order. You should consider ordering at least one ADA-compliant restroom for your event.

A mobile restroom is much more than an ordinary portable toilet. When ordering a mobile restroom from a company such as Johnny Blue, Inc, make sure you are aware of all of the extras that you can take advantage of to make your event more pleasant.
